Dana has been communicating to millions of viewers and listeners throughout the U.S. and literally around the world for over 20 years. After starting out as a writer and producer, it was suggested she try her hand at working in front of the lens. As she puts it, “I was too young and stupid to be afraid of being on-camera!”, so after doing several “embarrassing” local commercials in Wichita, Kansas, she was soon hosting shows in Kansas City (KMBC), and in Philadelphia (KYW).

Her first national exposure came when she was chosen to host “HBO Entertainment News” out of New York City. This led to hosting numerous pilots for nationally-syndicated and network television series, including co-hosting (along with Matt Lauer) a pilot that led to the creation of “E Entertainment Television”.

Dana's next stop took her to Los Angeles, where she co-hosted “The Home Show” (with Gary Collins) for ABC Television. “Home” was a live, daily program seen by millions, airing in the same time slot as “The View” does today. .

Following “Home”, she was delighted to be asked to fill in numerous times for Kathie Lee Gifford as Regis Philbin's guest co-host on “Live with Regis & Kathie Lee”.  Other career highlights include hosting a series of one hour, prime time specials (“Put to the Test”) for ABC, two daily programs for Lifetime Television (“Kids These Days” and “Good Housekeeping”), a daily NBC show (“The Other Side”), and numerous pilots for the networks and top syndicators.

From 2000-2007, Dana and Joel Siegel (“Good Morning America”) hosted three yearly syndicated specials seen in the U.S. and in over 35 countries around the world. Produced by ABC in New York and distributed by IMG Entertainment, these specials included an Academy Awards Preview, along with a Summer Film Preview and Holiday Film Preview. Today, Dana continues to co-host the Academy Awards Preview (“Road to Gold”) each year.

Throughout her career, Dana has done extensive voiceover work in a wide array of styles in conjunction with her on-camera duties. She has studied with Bruce Kronenberg at Abacus Studios in New York, Wendy Dillon, a voiceover artist and coach based in New York, and numerous other voice coaches along the way. Working daily out of her professional Aurelex home studio, Dana brings her natural style and years of experience to her voice work in a variety of genres, including radio and television commercials, documentaries, narration, corporate and educational projects, e-learning, and children's audio books.
